1. October Flights a Bargain?

According to the airfare app Hopper, it looks like the prices of flights in October should be very appealing to consumers. Both Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure have stories about the low cost of airfare. If you’ve been thinking about a quick trip before the holidays, this may be the time to take advantage of good prices.

2. New Budget Airline in the US?

Conde Nast Traveler reports that the founder of Jet Blue Airline is planning a new budget carrier in the US. The airline will offer flights within the United States in early 2021, or possibly 2020 may even offer some international flights.

3. Nearly 75% of Americans Not Ready for REAL ID Deadline

A study conducted by the U.S. Travel Association finds that about 75% of people in the United States are not ready for the REAL ID deadline of October 1, 2020. If the ID you use for flying is not REAL ID compliant, now is the time to take action!

4. Legoland Announces Opening Date of New York Park

The largest Legoland to date will be opening on July 4, 2020 in Goshen, NY. Located about 60 miles outside of New York City, this park will be comprised of seven themed lands, 50 rides, attractions and experiences on over 150 acres of land.
